About this notice
This notice describes the public Amnesia website and its inquiry form. It does not describe the separate websites, checkout services, or accounts operated by retailers linked from this site.
When you contact us
The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. You may also provide a company name, phone number, and market or state. Please include only information needed for your inquiry.
We use these details to review and respond to your request. The form sends the details by email to our inquiry inbox, info@amnesiaco.com, using WordPress mail delivery. Your email address is included as the reply-to address so we can answer you.
The public form handler does not save the message as a submission record in the WordPress database. The email and any subsequent correspondence are handled by the receiving email system. Contact us if you have questions about a message you sent or how long correspondence is kept.
The form uses a hidden anti-spam field, a signed form timestamp, and request checks. Temporary counters and a hashed email-based key limit repeat submissions; a temporary confirmation token controls access to the thank-you page. These checks help handle submissions and do not verify your identity.
Choices stored in your browser
The age screen asks you to confirm that you are 21 or older. A confirmation flag named amnesia-age-confirmed is stored in browser session storage. The screen does not request your date of birth or perform identity verification.
If you change the motion setting, the site saves an on/off preference named amnesia-motion in browser local storage so the choice can be remembered on later visits. Your device’s reduced-motion preference takes priority.
You can remove these saved preferences using your browser’s site-data controls. Removing them can cause the age question to appear again or reset your motion choice. These settings are separate from any browser data used when an authorized user signs into WordPress.
Hosting and technical requests
The website is hosted by Kinsta. Delivering pages and media involves processing technical request information. Hosting logs can include an IP address, requested URL, request time, referring page, and browser information. See Kinsta’s server-log documentation for the types of information its logs support.
The current public website theme does not include a Google Analytics tag or advertising pixel. This does not mean hosting requests or server logs are absent. This notice does not provide a complete inventory of hosting-level cookies or set a fixed retention period for hosting logs or email.
Searches and external links
Product and store-directory searches run in your browser; those search features do not send your search text to an external search service. The store directory does not request your device’s location.
After age confirmation, the map loads OpenStreetMap tiles when you reach the locator. Your browser sends technical requests, including your IP address and page origin, to OpenStreetMap’s tile servers. Tile requests reflect the map area you view, not the text you type into the directory. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. Address pins use precomputed U.S. Census address-range matches, not verified building entrances. Stores without an accepted address match use labeled city-area reference points; these are not exact storefront locations. No visitor search is sent to a geocoder.
Retailer website and menu links take you to services operated by those businesses. Selecting directions opens Google Maps with the selected store’s name and address, not a location collected by this directory. Those services handle your visit under their own privacy practices.
A direct email link opens your chosen email application. Information you choose to send is also handled by your email provider.
